Black Friday. What an appropriate day for opening day. I'm not much of a shopper, and I would never ever consider getting up at 4am to shop. To ski? Hell yea! To shop? never. At any rate, we turned Black Friday into White Friday.
The 2009-10 ski season is officially under way, therefore it's time to fire up the blog. Actually, I fired it up yesterday, but since that was a non-ski day it doesn't really count. We would have definitely skied on Thanksgiving, but the mountain was not open.
Happy skis and board on the rack. Yow.
The base is still a little thin. The good news was they opened the upper mountain, where all the fun stuff is.
That didn't slow us down. Dylan kickin' the pow on opening day through the baby trees and fog.
The best news was that it snowed instead of rained.
Enough of the pictures... let's go already.
Diane is rippin' it up.
Dave came along.
Diane and Dylan are happy campers at the end of a fun first day.
Here's to many more this season.
